Bond Falls

People claim this is the best single waterfall in the Western Upper Peninsula, and the second best waterfall in Michigan, with the possible exception of Tahquamenon Falls. The main drop was 40 feet and over 100 feet wide. A series of cascades above the main falls drop approximately 20 feet.

It is located in Haight Township in Southern Ontonagon County in Michigan. It is on the middle branch of the Ontonagon River.

Bond Falls was beautiful. We took Angel with us so he also had a chance to walk and explore as we took the trails to see the Falls. It was a lovely day to enjoy the Bond Falls Scenic Site. Following are a series of photos I took as we explored Bond Falls.

We hiked all the way up to the headwaters.

After hiking back down, we drove around to the main dam.
